I remember the old store what with its registers front and back that were all staffed, I know how quaint. Also a ramp out the back you walked down instead of the temperamental travelator there now. Anyway store has recently rebranded as Metro, who knows why. Because store not as big as other stores? Or because by changing name think it will appeal more to Hamptonites? Anyway can get most of what you need here. This store quite tight in areas and sometimes displays take up aisle space that isn't actually there so yes beware tripping hazards. 23.10 I don't mind the sandwiches here, salad for me and mixed for husband. 12.2.24 Hampton Woolworths is small, yes, but always get what I need and the occasional surprise, such as L'Oréal foundation for $5 reduced by $23 in my exact shade. 17.6.24 so they've installed paid parking!
Quite disgusted I went there and returned to my vehicle parked below via lift..I got caught in lift as it wouldn't move and luckily enough I picked G floor again and it opened the doors. When I went to main desk to ask for Manager to report lift I was advised they knew it was broken..I stated I suffer from claustrophobia and was quite worried THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE! NOT EVEN TAPE! I was also met with a glance from female attendant as if I was being hysterical the male attendant apologised. Come on Metro DO BETTER!
Woolworth Hampton is the worst and most pitiful of all the woolworths I've been to. And I'm not the only one who thinks this way!nnDirty in some sections like meat, disorganised, wonder why some items are not in the same sections as others, and there are always items out of stock here and there.nnSo here's how it goes when you go shopping at Woolworth's in Hampton, well you end up having to go to other supermarkets or markets in the area to complete and finalise your shopping list.nnAnd here I am addressing the manager and owner of this moronic supermarket. You should take a leaf out of the Woolworths in Brighton and Moorabin, which are much better arranged, clean and have no shortages. Shame on you!
aisles are well stocked along w delicious fresh options of meat. staff are also super friendly! overall is an amazing woolies, top notch location/facilities to get there store is super clean and pleasant to be in as well as the super friendly staff who make it all the more nicer. highly recommend this woolies as it has everything one could need. 10/10 highly recommend it. massive kudos to the amazingly friendly staff who keep this place running smoothly and have a kind friendly nature that makes for shopping here an absolute delight. keep it up you guys are amazing
Woolies Hampton customer service toward Uber drivers unprofessional, careless. Order waiting in trolley for drivers to pick up and staff make drivers wait up to 10-15 min to finally to noticed or serviced , basically don't want to that at all it is wast of drivers time and delivery delays to customers, if you customer and using uber to deliver Woolworths orders , avoid Woolworths Hampton
