Used to be my favourite Woolworth with nice staffs. But today, two new girls at coffee bar, placed wrong order, waiting time super long, and they two were chatting and laughing behind coffee machine, very unprofessional. I'm disappointed for their service and training now.
I am the resident of Green Square suburb. I regularly visited Woolies at GS. It is my go to shop. I enjoy shopping around and found the good deal or bargain. It's my hobby. What did I do wrong? So every time when I stepped into green square store, I may already bought some groceries from other shops such as Coles or Harris Farm. I've been asked to open my bag when I paid the bill at the self service by one female staff all the time. I didn't realize when I was asked at the first time, but this is the third time today she has asked me open my bag. It's racial biased for sure. Please check people's bags first before they enter the shop. Please don't single out racial minority customers for your routine check. I am very disappointed at Woolies' service and value. I literally saw staff pretending not to see anything happened when a bunch of strayed teenager stealing stuff from the shop. Staff offered different treatment and service towards native speakers.
Watched a kid on an escooter just about flatten an older woman the other day. She asked me if I could find a staff member for her, but the staff member said it was fine and refused to speak with her.nThe woman was quite distressed. Just a bit of a dodgy experience for her I think, I've always found the staff nice enough but this guy was weird and rude.
A nice new Woolworths Metro store in Green Square. I think some of the prices are a little bit more expensive on some items than a typical large supermarket though.nBut I do like the free coffee that you get whenever you spend more than $50, and you have the Woolworths app or card on your phone.
A clean, modern Woolworths with everything you'll need to keep your household running smoothly.nnStaff are friendly and the customers are well behaved in this part of town, though parking can be an issue during peak visible hours.
