Good layout and clean store. Typical store with a single operator to serve, but once we made #3 in the queue, another staff member jumped on a register grabbing the customer in front of us. This was good customer service, so they get a rare 5 star for a being responsive to operator demand and b ensuring the next waiting was ushered through.
Unprofessional staff. I had a click and collect order to pick up. I arrived there on time and they said it’ll take another 3 minutes when I arrived there. I stayed there for more than 20 minutes while the order was just sitting on the shelves. And then suddenly another staff turned up and asked how can I help you and I told my order number. Then she just gave me the order. Waste of time.
My local woolies. The store lighting is weird. It's clean and easy to get around in store. However! The staff are big gossips standing in aisles and at top of the aisle so it's hard to get around. Do they have staff meetings in the store instead of the tearoom? Then I always over hear the shelf packers chatting and gossiping and their stinky b.o.nThis is not suitable.
Great supermarket. Stocks all usually required groceries. No shortage of stock with plenty of discounted items.
I've been waiting excitedly for this store to open since the signs first went up.. Mostly because it is more convenient for me than the Coles down the road..nFirst thing I noticed, because I need it, is that there are only a couple of disabled spaces two I think compared to parents spaces.. Where there should be more disabled spaces the rest of the front of store parking is 5 minutes only parking..nUpon entering the complex you see a panoramic frontage for Woollies..nIt looks great.. You will see that there are 14 very spacious self serve checkouts which are obviously purpose built for trolleys.. There are only 6 full service checkouts of which only one was operating..nNow a huge standout is the width of the aisles.. Very spacious.. Of note is the meat dept, everything is in a closed door fridge.. so no sneaking in front of dawdlers to quickly grab what you need.. The pre-packaged food such as cheese, deli, pasta, meals etc are in closed door fridges also.. Speaking of pre-packaged, it's very Tesco like now.. So much is pre-packaged which is convenient for some I suppose but for those shopping for one person it is very limiting..nInto the general grocery area.. The ticketing on the shelves is very different.. No more scanning the aisles for the tags that stick out to highlight the specials, new items, clearance etc.. For me this is an issue as it may also be for vision impaired people.. You have to get close to the shelves to find those items now.. Another thing of note is the rapidly decreasing range of Woollies brand items.. And generally, in my opinion a dramatically reduced variety of items..nNow to the deli.. Whilst they do have service at the deli, there were 3 of us waiting for the staff to finish their chat.. They also have a fresh not seafood section.. Sadly it is stocked with a majority of imported products..nOverall, a modern store which has easy access unless you need disabled parking it's clean, spacious and in a very convenient location.. Checking out during busy hours might be an issue if you need assistance with only one service staff member at the self service checkouts.. I've only given 3 stars but this might change once they have settled in..
