Great Woolies, friendly staff. Great selection of fruit and veg and salads. Plenty of cheeses and snack food. Bakery bread, and plenty of cakes. Car park is free and no problem finding a space close to shopping centre where there is also a sushi bar, Subway, bakers delight, and a boutique butchers.
Classic Woolworths sells what you'd expect. Has a descent deli and good selection of cheeses for a Woolies. Good for a local shops. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Nothing to complain about.
Poor management, not enough customer service staff rostered, so there are never any checkouts open, even if you have a huge trolley full of groceries, you are told you “HAVE to” use self serve, whilst front-end staff stand around looking at their phones, or stand there watching customers struggle to juggle filled bags of groceries on the floor of the self-serve area.nSelf-serve is great in theory, but it is NOT designed for large grocery shops, especially when the machines constantly require staff attending to fix issues!nnRude front-end staff that treat customers with disdain and make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them, boxes of stock strewn about for customers to trip over, stock filled on shelves in unopened boxes, so you have to struggle to open the boxes to get to the stock inside, giant cages full of stock taking up 3/4 of the aisle, and then you have to try to dodge staff with giant trolleys filling online orders taking up what’s left of the aisle… I really dread shopping in this store, and wish it wasn’t my local.nnThe only saving grace for this store are the minority of friendly, helpful staff members that go above and beyond for their customers - Hazel, Andrew, and Marion are three absolute assets to this store, and others could learn from their example.
Some of the rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. I was told not to get in the way while she was stacking the fridges I was trying to get a packet of shredded cheese.Sadly, this was not the first time that I have encountered this particular staff member who needs to learn that if there were no customers then she wouldn’t have a job.
Seriously!!!nOne register open, a long line off people with trollies full. I waited nearly 40 minutes before I was served, all refrigerated items starting to thaw out.nnAnd no, I refuse to go to a self seve register with a trolley full of groceries, mainly because the self serve is not equipped for large quantities and I do not work there.
