Very helpful staff at the self checkout set us up and wished us a good day upon our exit. The produce was varied and fresh. Large store even had Bundaburg Sarsaparilla
At around 4:30 pm today, I was having my groceries tallied by a checkout staff member, I have her name which I will supply directly if contacted by Management. During this process she cleared her throat and spat onto the ground behind the counter into what I can only hope was a waste basket.nWe may be a remote community, however as customers surely we can expect more than this from Woolworths.
A group of young indigenous boys threw cans across the top of aisles landing wherever. One can of lemonade hit my shoulder and exploded . An elderly lady down the aisle was distressed not knowing which way to go to be safe. The staff member I approached was pretty casual saying security staff had been called to try and chase them down. These kids should be excluded by security from being allowed to enter the store in the first place.
Well equipped for a remote town. Not all fruits/veggies aviable but that's what you have to live with in this area.nClean supermarket, large parking spot.
Wasn't stocked very well and seemed to have a lot of empty shelves. Half of what I needed was not available. Went to IGA down the road who had everything I couldn't get from Woolies. Need a better ordering system or have more stock deliveries. Meat and dairy expiry dates also very short. Shopping centre doesn't feel safe either and you have sense you are going to be set upon by local inhabitants waiting just outside.
