I’d like to give a special mention to “VARUN” one of the staff members in the checkout section. He have helped me on a couple of occasions and have always gone out of his way to be friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. It makes a big difference when staff take the time to assist with a positive attitude. Thank you for your excellent customer service!
Loving the shopping experience & variety offered here. This outlet is located within walking distance to The University of Melbourne with ample parking available. The fact that Brunetti Classico Carlton, cinema, local pharmacy as well as Country Road fashion boutique are within the vicinity makes this WW my favourite grocery shopping centre at all times.
I had an uncomfortable experience at Woolworths Carlton when a staff member at the self-checkout area questioned the items I had in my trolley from another store clearly marked with Coles branding. Even after I showed the receipt, another staff member was called over to check again.nnIt felt unnecessary and could have been handled more professionally. I hope Woolworths reviews its training so that customers are treated with more respect and understanding in the future.nnEven at the end, the staff member avoided apologizing directly, and instead, their colleagues apologized on their behalf. This kind of attitude raises the question: what causes such animosity or mistrust towards customers?
I went there yesterday 05th January 2025 and the feta was two weeks out of date. Please check the expiration dates on their products before purchase.
Tonight they had approximately a dozen tradesmen working around and within the usual checkout area, aggressively moving heavy items without regard for customers. In fact, their worksite was not even delineated. No effort was made to separate customers from the work area. This is disgustingly unsafe and probably cause for worksafe intervention
