Shopping experience on 2025/02/27nnThis is one of the worst Woolworth. I used to love this store but unfortunately this year it seems things are just terrible at this store.nFirst and foremost, the customer service has become absolutely terrible. The elderly ladies and young staff all tend to have negative attitude towards many customers and never greet customers or smile at customers. If you ask for assistance they do the bare minimum and just point or give incomplete explanations.nSecondly, most times you’ll see big carts blocking many isle as shop staff are restocking the shelves during the day. They don’t even bother to move when customers approach to grab a product from the shelves. They’ll just block your way.nTo make matters worst, the bakery section is always lacking products with notice that due to baker shortage this is happening.nFinally the meat section is a bit dodgy because old meat expiring on the day is still displayed in the front with full price while the fresher meats are put in the back of the refrigerator. Maybe they should offer discounts on meat which is expiring on the day instead of selling it on full price.nAlso be very careful because the checkout machines tend to charge you different amount mostly more than the actual price of the product. I encountered this when I bought a cucumber priced at $1.20 while the checkout machines scanned it at $3.50!!!nThis store really needs to have better staff members so that it can regain its glory days!
The staff at this store are very friendly and helpful.nIt has a nice atmosphere, and the music is always set to the perfect volume.nIt is always well stocked, and I am very happy with the freshness of the fruit and vegetables.
