Honestly not the best Woolies I've ever been to but also not the worst. There's often a charity at the front door which is awkward at times, the stocked items are a bit hit and miss, the layout is tight and doesn't flow well and the carpark needs work. That said - the staff are kind and approachable, it's clean, the fresh produce is decent and the range is adequate. It's not a big store so don't expect to find the most niche items but most things are easily replaceable if you can't get them here. Wouldn't recommend it for your big shops but it's handy as a quick, drop-in local supermarket!
Used to love shopping here, it was so nice to have a somewhere local to go, but I just can't do it anymore.nThere's constantly a pushy charity positioned RIGHT outside the door and even if you tell them no on the way in, they'll try again on your way out.nnWe're all struggling right now and just want to go to the shops in peace.
I took my elderly mum to this store over the weekend she's nearly 90 and loves to do her own shopping. She was in a line of about 3 people waiting to be served by the one cashier on at the time. A young chap came over and asked her to come to the next register which he opened especially for her. It was an extremely thoughtful gesture. I wish I'd got his name because it was the best example of customer service that I have seen for a long time. Well done!
Furious. Monster energies r 6.50 bucks they were 4.00 last week and 3 bucks a couple years ago how on earth can you justify a 1.6x price increase in a week i know for a fact that it has not gotten 60% more expensive to make and distribute monster energies i am absolutely fuming.1/10 deserving of nothing but a pipe bomb left in their bin.
Next to the library and historic building with cafe; all located across the road from Belgrave station and the famous tourist attraction- the very successful, volunteer run Puffing Billy Station. I am impressed by the lady at the reception. On Saturday 22 August, we took a train to Belgrave for a walk around. I used to work as a film processor at the shop opposite 30 years ago and never knew the shops around me!! Decided to buy a 500 ml gourmet ice cream to indulge at the park nearby. She was so perceptive to offer us two spoons! This is what I call service! This is human touch and no robot or self service can replace that! Good on you, lady. Thank you. Btw, Belgrave is mighty beautiful with lots of walks and hiking routes!
