It's handy to drop into and grab a couple of things after work. However, being a smaller store they don't always have the items you want or I have found that the fruit and vegetables didn't look the greatest.
One thing I noticed that is good is they open the front of chip boxes instead of taking them out of the box and putting them on the shelf. What I noticed about this is the chips are generally way less broken and I now skip coles for my chips. Also, I think their fruit and veg are better quality. It's a small woollies but the layout is way more convenient than the local Coles.
This supermarket is an icon in the bayswater area, been open nearly my whole life, 56 years. Had my first job here and came back years later as a night filler. Highly recommended both as a place to shop and a place to work. Gave me a lot of experience in things that have come in handy later in life
I gave 1 star because of the manager lee and her crew at Kilsyth who made me and my sons life a hell. Just for trying to do my job.nOther than that I loved the store and never had issues
Might be relatively small in size but it has a friendly team working towards cleaning the place up and making it even better. I worked there a short time, training for Proactive Services, so I got to know a few friendly folks there.
