It’s not as large as some other Woolies in the area but does have a decent amount of stock. Good options in the produce section, deli and meats. Trolleys don’t require a coin to use which is great considering not many people carry cash / coin these days. Negative points for no registers being open, only self-checkout. I had a loaded trolley and self-checkout is not ideal as there is not enough space for all the items to be bagged. Free parking for up to an hour and there is a Dan Murphy on site as well
Nice, new, clean store with friendly staff. Not a full size store but they have a wide range. Not much parking and only a couple undercover. Carpark is shared with Dan Murphys. You could get at least 80% of your regular shop here. They also have a Click & Collect point with it's own entrance.
This is my closest large grocery store. I’ve watched it go from a good range of food and products to the pre-packaged kind that Metros sell. When the conversion happened, I protested to management & said: I don’t want plastic wrapped, pre packaged food I cook, and I don’t want to see spiralling prices. They said they were increasing the range - only true if you want pre cooked, packaged stuff. There’s a smaller range of products I used to buy - including offering only smaller sizes of a brand of product. They said no price difference — not true. I live alone & my weekly bill is now regularly between $150 and $230. A week?! And that’s with buying specials and planning when I replace high cost olive oil items! How are non waged folks coping? These guys are price gouging and they know it.nI’m exploring Aldi and Coles and they’re losing my custom.
Street parking had always been pain in this neighbourhood, which is one of the reasons I had not been eating at Sushi Jones for a while.nRecently I have been told that if I spend min A$30 would qualify for 2 hours free parking at the nearby Woolworth car park.nI only need to press the button to talk to parking assistant for him to validate my free parking, on my way out.nGladly I had lunch at Sushi Jones today.nSurprise! When I drove out of Woolworth car park, the off site parking assistant told me that he can’t validate my parking because he had NEVER HEARD OF Sushi Jones.nPlease work out whatever problem between Sushi Jones and Woolworth car park and let me know.nDuring the time, I would stay away, because I don’t want to become a liar & a thief, just because I ate at Sushi Jones!!!
Promotion markings on the shelves are all over the place. I took a product from one of those promotion marked areas but it turned out that it was not a discounted item. I picked up on this when I got back home yesterday. Today, I tried returning the product and get a refund. They refused on the basis that they changed their shelves set up today. The manager was very unhelpfull. Very bad customer service compare to Woolworths Green Square.
