Wooden Horse boasts a unique dining experience that has everything the city centre has to offer, right in the heart of Clayfield. Two brothers, trained as chefs in different corners of Brisbane, have joined forces to make all this possible.

Using the freshest local produce, we have the space to give classic dishes a modern twist without compromising quality and that unmistakeable flavour we all came to love in the first place.

We’ve been patrons here for almost 4 years, these guys are amazing. Complete works of delicious art. Fabulous product knowledge and care taken in preparation of their dishes. Paired with fabulous wines and impeccable service.
The food was incredible! Our waiter recommended myself and my friend cocktails and our mains which we got and it was perfect! The staff were so friendly and always checked up on us to make sure that everything was perfect! We got the Catch of the day fish which was incredible and a steak which was cooked perfectly!
Great food and decor. I recommend the pecan pie if you're sticking around for dessert .

Capriccio entre, flank steak main, and burnt butter pumpkin pie with unique candied sage leaves for desert all paired with a wonderful Shiraz - made for a wonderful night :-.
