I don't know why wouldn't anyone give this place 5 stars! Excellent food, wonderful staff and overall good vibes. We got the garlic and cheese pizza and hot wings. Both tasted great! We didn't mind the wait, considering how packed they were. Great job guys! Will be back for more soon!
Love the place especially because of outside tables and of course because it's dog-friendly. Pizzas were yum. Salsa was great. Was a bit packed when we visit and limited options to choose from the menu Visited on 3rd Jan around 5pm. Staffs were friendly. Definitely would visit again when we are in town and try other dishes.
Good setup eat inside or outside, inside the walls are lined with movie posters which is neat and they have multiple arcade machines. The service was good with the waiting staff checking every now and then if we needed anything else. We both had a burger and chips which was reasonably priced and tasty Highly recommended
Oh my goodness I cannot give this place a higher recommendation! Lovely ambience, delicious food, and the coolest, friendliest service I have experienced. The food and drinks are great value, and came out really fast even with us being a big group. If you are in Mangawhai, this is the place to go! Vegetarian options: Good selection, high quality
I swear the cook put more love into this pizza than I did my girlfriend last night. I got so turned on. Hot, steamy, and stiff... pizza crust . Just perfect and moist ,, oh so moist. Quickly come .. and get on this pizza place. Omg.Food: 5/5
Had some pizzas and it's been a while since we had some proper wood fired pizza. Had the Hawaiian and Meat Lover's pizza and both were well worth it. They offer gluten-free options on all pizza which is what we were looking for. Pitty that they don't have a kids size in GF... The onion rings were great with a decent sized portion and some complementary dipping sauces The outside area was fine and I think it might be great on a warm summers night. Outside is dog friendly with bowl for the dogs, special doors and even clips to clip them in so they don't run around toouch. Pitty smoking was allowed outside though It was quite unusual to see people smoking at a family friendly restaurant.
We understand that on the 1st of January with a young serve team and lots going on it must be hard, but the 90 minute wait for food which yes, we were warned about and happy to patiently wait to then find we had been waiting the entire time with the order not even having been placed with the kitchen, to then also find out the meal we had been so looking forward to was actually sold out so had been waiting 1.5 hours for nothing, to then wait a further 45 minutes to actually receive the other items. The drinks were all made very fast and reasonably well, but the serving ? experience was unreal.
Great pizzas and very helpful and attentive staff, even though they were really busy.. Pizza bases and toppings were delicious and were adapted for our party's dietary restrictions. The kids loved the curly fries. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and non-diary options.
Service was quick, vibe was lovely. Bit let down by our cold - 'warm brownie' brought back to us with little regard for the presentation. We were really keen to rate it highly but out of ten we came to the conclusion that 6 fits best. Good for meal surely, but not as a return destination.
The venue and the staff are great, the service is excellent. The cheeseburger pizza however…. Vile! Bone dry and devoid of flavour. Burger Pattie’s are succulent and the flavours of meat, onion, mustard and pickle combine to deliver a fusion of flavours. Not in this case! The dry over spicy mince, onion and chopped pickle and mustard just didn’t come together. The cheese was not really evident either. In short it was like eating cardboard. I did tell the cashier at checkout and she murmured the expected apology.
