Story

Wondoflex...funny name for a wool shop, but that is because of it's history. Wondoflex was an elasticised yarn, produced in Gardenvale way back in the 1930s. The yarn has long gone...but the shop named in its honor has been going strong since that time.
Whilst we have a website, we see our face book page as way of giving you timely information on events, specials, new products and of course a chance to share our talented customers works with the world.

A great range of yarns in a large showroom. The women are incredibly helpful - not only in wool selection but especially in helping me and everyone else to work a pattern that is too challenging for me. Super highly recommended.

Oh yeah this place is the bomb for wool and fiber people. If you spin weave or knit or crochet you need to go here.

A magnificent yarn and craft shop. Such a huge variety and set out by yarn weight. It has the full range from the more modestly priced to the top of the range yarns as well as all the accessories you might need. A bonus on Fridays and Saturdays is that the bargain basement out the back is open. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Wondoflex is an inspirational venue and a must visit if you like to knit. It's easily accessible for visitors too as it's on a tram route.

Ahh click and collect! They got my order ready overnight, and actually called me to let me know it was ready. Very Covid safe, and when I needed more yarn they got it in the mail to me very quickly. Good range.

Great selection of wool, interesting extra stock available on Friday and Saturday in a clearance area. Helpful, knowledgeable staff.

I am a first time customer.   I rang last week and the lady  was very helpful and I placed my order.  The order was beautifully packaged and made me feel special.  I will definatly visit the store when the Covid restrictions are lifted.   Thanks so much.
