Great experience. Kind staff, felt like I was heard and cared for. Dr Amy took the time to explain my options and took time to ensure I understood everything. I liked that I could enter all of my new patient info online ahead of time. Highly recommend!
Today I saw the physician assistant as my doctor no longer sees patients older than the child bearing years. Alyssa was absolutely outstanding and gave me confidence in seeing her annually for all further checkups. I highly recommend her.
I've been going to this Women's Health Specialists since I was 15 and didn't have a bad experience until today. The providers and the nurses are always great - but front desk staff? Not so much. Look, I understand it gets tedious answering probably the same questions over and over again on the daily and having to constantly transfer calls. It's not easy being front desk, I've worked in that position before too. But when you're working front desk for a gynecologist, you need to be sensitive and careful to how/what you say to patients. I mean, think about it - you're working for a v*gina doctor. What the heck do you think the patients are going to you for? For personal and serious reasons. You never know what someone is going through. Today I called to ask a simple question about my birth control, and the lady who answered had to transfer me twice. First time the line just hung up. Second time I was sent to the voicemail of a provider, so I tried to call again. By the third time the lady was extremely rude and I've never heard anyone use that disrespectful of a tone on the phone ever. I understand that I could've sent a message on their website instead but my question was urgent and the whole experience threw me off. Definitely changes the way I see WHS.
Had my first well woman exam and consultation today with Gina Kruml, WHNP. I had a variety of questions/issues that we discussed today and Gina listened carefully and made thoughtful recommendations. She followed our discussion with a thorough exam, explaining everything as she proceeded. Gina made a point of taking her time with our visit and I greatly appreciated her care. I look forward to working with her in the future.
Very nice clean office, friendly staff. Must wear a mask which I loved the fact they still see the need to do this. Dr was great spoke language I could understand and explained everything that is going on and how we are going to move forward in my healthcare.
I love Alyssa Studley my PA. She takes excellent care of me and listens well. I never feel like she is rushing through my visit. My complaint is that I have bever once been taken back to see a practitioner less than 20 mins after my scheduled appointment time. Also they have not embraced a holistic or integrative approach. I would love to see more of an empowering atmosphere that promotes wellness.
My visit with Dr. Levav was great, as usual. I've been her patient for over a decade. She is thorough, thoughtful, and compassionate. Dr. Levav remembers my health particulars and checks with me about how I'm doing psychologically and emotionally with my other health issues, not just GYN health, making me feel valued as a whole person. Also her nurse, Britnie, was warm, jovial as she expertly prepared me for the Dr.'s entrance.
Dr. Levav is amazing. She takes the time to educate you and make sure you understand what’s going on with your own body. She has amazing bedside manner and you feel she truly cares for her patients! I would recommend her to absolutely anyone
Dr. Amy Levav, and her support staff, consistently exceed my expectations. I have been a patient here for over 8 years and the care and attention is excellent. Dr. Levav is bright, thorough and takes her time with her patients. She explores both the nitty gritty as well as the bigger picture. Interestingly, Dr. Levav feels like my primary physician at times as she is interested in treating all aspects of her patients and takes her time during my annual exams to explore any changes or needs. I feel very fortunate to have found her to be my GYN after 30 plus years with my prior doctor before he retired.
James Barter should not be working with women in any capacity. He is rude, aggressive, and condescending. He laughed openly over my body during my visit with him. I refuse to return back to this disturbing office. And nothing was solved. I was just left humiliated.
