Calm streets hold my heart,nCity glimmers just one stop,nWollstonecraft stays still.
Wollstonecraft railway station is located on the North Shore line, serving the Sydney suburb of Wollstonecraft. It is served by Sydney Trains T1 North Shore line services. The platform is located on a sharp 200-metre radius curve.
The Station is Very Curvy and Trains Often Make Noise when Arriving and Departing the Station and it is Affecting Residents and there is No Easy Fix.
It was pouring today and unfortunately I didn't have my umbrella. The train station attendant/manager Ricky was so incredibly sweet and helpful and lent me his umbrella as I had an event at Berry Island Reserve. When I went back to return the umbrella, he even walked me to the other platform and we had a lovely quick chat. Salamat po Kuya Ricky! Such thoughtful customer service.
Wollstonecraft is clean, convenient, and well staffed. Featuring a laundromat/general store on the city-bound side, and a dog cafe, human cafe, and general store on the northern-bound side, the station is very well appointed in terms of amenities - it also features reasonably clean public toilets on one side. It is also wheelchair accessible with the exception of the toilets. The station location leaves something to be desired however - while conveniently placed for the Greenwich, Wollstonecraft, and Crows Nest communities, the station is a bit of a trek from Greenwich. It's a pleasant walk though! All round, Wollstonecraft is a well kept and easy to use station.
