Great beaches great people great cafes night clubs the beaches have exercise equipment. Nippers club ‍ ‍ basket ball stadium… endless restaurants…. What more could u ask for… the free loop bus service aswell
Good station with plenty of parking, a spot to buy snacks and drinks. Also nice and long to fit longer trains in with lifts for parking and access to the streets and other side of the station. Location is central and easy to get to overall. Can sometimes see dodgy people hanging around but there's plenty of staff about to keep an eye on things.
Seats on the eastern side are covered from rain very dry but no shelters nor seats on the western side so if it's raining don't expect a seat nor shelters from the rain and wind
Taps in toilets turn off as soon as you let go and it's impossible to wash your hands properly
A neat station with easy access for prams and wheelchairs and bicyclists. Caught a train here from Central and then later a local service. Good information including train departure times. Connection to buses. Proximate to city centre and easy walk to beaches.
Small station but clean and neat
Short walk to the Wollongong CBD and with new trains being introduced & all new residential high rise springing up right next door, from 2020 this is going to be a buzzing station.
The joint is hopeless Crown Street should be opened up Ditch the mall
I have to say that the staff are always available, always cleaning and informing the passengers about train arrival and all the information you need but what stands out the most on the platform is the shop! it's a great sight when your running late, the man who is there every day is just as helpful as the station staff if not more, very kind, courtesyand has a great sense of humour! Thank Wollongong that we have someone like that in our town
