My recent takeaway order of Chicken Pad Thai from Wokitup Noodle Restaurant had some positives and negatives. On the bright side, the noodles were cooked properly, and the presentation of the dish was nice. However, the chicken was a bit chewy, which made it slightly difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the dish lacked the expected taste and flavor, making it a bit bland for my liking. While it was not a terrible experience, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of taste and texture. Overall, Wokitup Noodle Restaurant is an okay option for a quick meal, but it may not be my first choice for a flavorful dish.
At first glance the restaurant looks very messy. The portion we got was adequate for the price we paid, don’t get mistaken by the size of the bucket i guess its called that , we got a regular size. We did takeaway so when we reached home i.e. 5 mins drive from the store, Singaporean noodle was very dry and the Chilli combo was soaked in the sauce. Was really looking forward for some delicious noodles but didn’t meet our expectations.
Very variable. Ordered online and picked up at the store. They made my food with the wrong noodles so had to drive back and have it replaced due to an allergy. It's good etiquette to give you a free drink or something when you make a mistake like this but all I got was a meek apology and the food I originally ordered + time wasted. I always select sweet chili sauce and sometimes it is chili sauce, sometimes it is extremely hot sweet chili sauce. My partner also ordered tofu and egg one time and she only got the egg. Also the list of gluten free sauces listed online doesn't really relate to what you can order online when you select build your own chicken noodles selection. Food is very reasonably priced and is good when you get what you want. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.
Not sure why no one is mentioning the hygiene of this place. Food is tasty but the place is unhygienic. Sauce spots everywhere. The staff who was working in the kitchen came to take my order and was using his bare hands to tap on the screen. The screen had multiple visible white finger prints because the staffs clearly do not think they need to wipe or wash their hands after handling ingredients in the kitchen. The staff that took my order then proceeded to handle the food in the kitchen with out washing his hands. You need to have someone at the front only taking orders and not expect your kitchen staff to do everything. Looked very distracting and stressful on the staffs with delivery guys dropping by every 3 mins, customer wanting to order and woking it up in the kitchen. What in the multitasking multitask I just witnessed. No wonder so many people are complaining about the poor attitude of the staffs. They are expected to be multitasking lords. Please do better.
Mixed reviews from our order. Pad Thai was inedible, beef noodles were decent and the satay noodles were okay. Despite this, the packaging was great with a convenient handle although slightly irritating to eat out of. All up 2/5 approve. Maybe it’s time to step it up… or wok it up…
My go to sick food, Seafood Laksa from Wokitup Love that you can select your choice of vegetables and meat seafood sometimes if I’m upto the challenge I’ll pay for the extra seafood. Comes with the option of making it a meal which has drink and spring rolls which I did select. Feeling better already and having a clear throat from my sniffles Takeaway is nicely packaged so that the soup doesn’t leak, always hot on arrival. Would recommend
My family and I enjoy Wok It Up whenever we're in Gungahlin because there's something there for everyone. It's not much for looks because they come in those little boxes, but they're quite flavourful. I usually get the ginger beef with sesame because it is a party on the dancefloor. My wife enjoys their chilli combo because it's spicy and saucy. My son usually goes with the sweet and sour pork; my daughter enjoys the spaghetti. I also usually get the spring rolls. Service is fast and friendly and I find their quality consistent. Overall, always a good experience.
When a staff member wipes down the counter into the food, dips the dirty cloth in the food and then handles the food with bare hands that used dirty cloth. We left without ordering. Hygiene is paramount when handling food and this staff member was ill trained to do what she did in front of customersFood: 1/5
Got order wrong after confirming it a second time and not enough sauce at all was mostly dry, this was Gungahlin wok it up and it was large satay chicken and large combination Mongolian. Needs more sauce the only nice part was the bottom as there was sauce there.Food: 3/5
This store was the original Wokitup before they became a franchise. Though this style of takeaway has been over copied the taste hasn't changed too much. This place uses Deliveroo is you can't get out to the store.
