We had the Chicken Katsu Curry and Chicken Katsu Don. Both were okay however left us desiring more. A little dry when eating and left us wanting both dishes to be more juicy more curry and more sauce. This place definitely has the ingredients to be a lot better. Room for improvement.
This was a nice experience and a good variety of veggie options on the menu. There could have been a few more veggies in the stir-fry and the portion size was a bit low, but taste was nice. The tempura veggies were good although the tempura chips were a bit cold. Pad Thai also good amount of veggies and portion size. The staff were friendly : Pre-made Sushi in the fridge too. Was busy with takeaway orders. There is not much indoor seating space....enough for 7 max. There is more outdoor seating though, but it was windy and cold! The table was a bit sticky too, so wouldn't say the dine in experience is the focus for them! My meal came out after everyone else in my group had finished after I had asked if it was coming. They were very apologetic and gave a few extra tempura chips which was nice. Good for takeaway. Pretty good prices!!! Vegetarian options: A good variety! Parking: A few street bays out the front and more across the road.
Disappointing food. The Tempura Yakisoba was the worst- just fried chips on top of noodles. The chicken in the Katsu Chicken was dried out and didnt taste freshly cooked. Vegetables in the dishes were stock standard and repeated in most dishes. The Stir Fried seafood was the best of what we ordered. Would not return.
First time there in 2019 April 7. Everything was Delicious. Had their teriyaki chicken, karaage chicken and wagyu beef fried noodles. Food was yum and fresh. Friendly Aussie chap manning the front counter and Master chef from Japan in the kitchen. What more can I say? Honto ni oishii. very tasty
Friendly efficient service for a morning coffee or to pick up sushi on way to work, plus yummy hot meals for lunch and tea.
Prices have gone up significantly in the last few months. What used to cost $12.50 now cost $18.90. $38 for 2 stir-fries is expensive.Food: 4/5
This shop has been here for yonks and there's a reason it hasn't gone anywhere - its full of great quality Japanese food. Lots of options available for a quick takeaway or a dine in meal. Tempura veg is obviously a must have. Also the catering options are great! Highly recommend!

Great tasty food but the prices are getting out of control. There are no prices for the sushi selection which is very expensive, $12 for salmon and avocado. I pay $7 in Claremont...
Chicken spring roll is very nice but the chicken karaage is quite small for the price of $13. A little bit disappointed but happy with the flavour overall.
