My experiences here have generally been quite positive. The doctors are good, the clinic itself is nice and comfortable, and the staff at reception have always been pleasant for me to deal with. I can't speak for others but I would describe the reception staff as professional, even when they are getting hammered with phone calls and patients at the desk. For the person who was frustrated by having to use FAX instead of email, Australian law officially classifies email as not secure and it is a breach of privacy regulations to transmit information deemed as sensitive in email. I understand that may seem odd, but it's also the reason FAX machines are still around so many places. FAX is officially classified as a means of secure transmission. If you are dealing with someone who is transmitting your (sensitive) information via email they are in breach of Australian regulatory law. Potential consequences include warnings, fines, or even suspension of their trading license.

This place is so disorganised and some of the receptionists are often rude and arrogant. The doctors are quite good if you can handle the useless receptionists, especially the anger woman herself - S-U-E In my opinion, the doctors uphold their part of the practice by mostly good work and the receptionists have a level of arrogance due to the success of the doctors, they need to express the same level of humility that their doctors do .. that's where it starts for the client, when you walk in the door. (It would be like Woolworth's store workers acting snobby because they are the largest food chain in Australia - ridiculous)

Umm just called to get email so that I could email a letter from the hospital to them for filing on my sons file. SUE... no sorry we don't give out our email address. Why would they use email if they dont give our the address. Get with the program.. not many people use faxes anymore ! Didnt realise an email was such a security risk. Best I change doctors surgery.. sorry Dr Ryan.
