Wonderful evening here in the igloos, amazing food & great table service. Was a very enjoyable evening. Only negative was we went at 3pm to see snow shower but this didnt happen, maybe because it was quiet. Other than that we truly enjoyed ourselves in beautiful surroundings.
I loved the vibe of the place the igloos, the wooden cabin stalls. The ice rink was lovely and the ice and rink was quite good for the pop up event that it is. It would have been great if the ice skating tent had see through ceilings so you can see the sky but still a fun time!! The rink was a tad small but it is an outdoor rink after all. Cant do much about it xD My highlight though was how friendly the ice staff Jess was and she even gave me a few pointers on skating and all ^_^ 10/10 for staff awesomeness, attentiveness and friendliness! The only thing I'd like improvement on for the venue is to have rubber mats so that people won't slip when getting off the ice as the fake grass got wet and slippery very quickly
Dined in the igloo we booked. The experience wasn’t too bad, but below our expectations. Food portion was good but the taste was just average, the snowfall was pretty cool but only a small area.
Visited here today after booking a standard vegetarian igloo package and ice skating. As much as I love the sun, it made our igloo more like a hot house! So I would recommend visiting in the evening or on a cloudy day if you can. Unfortunately we weren't able to do this. I wouldn't waste my money with the private igloo again. The platter and arancini were tasty. Southern fried broccoli was not too bad but slathered in thick salty bbq sauce that tasted like your standard supermarket squeezy bottle sauce. I imagine the chicken version would be the same. Coleslaw was also very salty and inedible. Ice cream sandwich is just pre-packaged/commercial not made by the chef and served in it's wrapping. The ice skating rink is small, but fun and we enjoyed it as there weren't many other people around. I think some more effort could got into making the whole area feel more "wintery" as it felt quite unfinished. Service in the ice skating area and in the igloos was good, with all staff being really friendly. Overall a bit disappointing but we made the most of it.
Looks nice, but it was bad. food is the cheapest and disgustingly tasteless, we tried and left everything. disposable plates and glasses. The chicken wings were super salty, which was impossible to eat at all. mashed potatoes made from powder, cold chips that must have been cooked a long time ago dessert marshmallow? Seriously? For this price, I could eat tastier and have a more pleasant time. And we bought tickets for ice skating too, $30 each for this a can of sardines. I never see so small a place for ice skating.
Had a great wee day out, ice skating was fun, and they had fake snow blowing then we had lunch in the igloo, was really cool and so much lovely food, very tasty and all the staff were lovely my only thing was when the sun was out the igloo was very warm but overall we loved it and would definitely go back
Had a fun day out Service, food and drinks were good, evening may have been a better option, given it was a sunny day Fun time had by all
Wow we had a awesome night out. Great food. The igloo we were sitting in was fantastic. Friedly staff
Brought the kids for a skate and dinner in an igloo. Nice atmosphere. Great that they put these things on. Set meal was good but WAY too much food!
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Yes, the food wasn't 5 star fine dining but it wasn't that bad. We purchased 3 adult premium packages and 1 kids meal/drink. The food was of huge proportions and by the end of it all we had to go for a big walk. We booked the 3:30pm to 5:15pm igloo and it was a little warm in the igloo. However there was a fan inside and it did a great job keeping us at a nice temp. I agree however with the other reviews in regards to the coleslaw and white chocolate sauce. The coleslaw had a weird taste and the white choc sauce was watery. I just mixed it with the espresso chocolate sauce. Our chips were piping hot and all the other food was delicious. I requested for the sauces to be on the side instead of on the chips and they did it with no problems. Overall, we had a lovely family outing
