If I could give 0 star I would. Poor customer service, unprofessional and poor quality machines and complete lack of care for repeat customers. We have had issues with both our CAT 301.6 and 305 various times, couldn’t get through to service and no call back after 2 weeks. The team accepted no liability for coupler fault and complaint emails not actioned or responded to after escalated. Numerous calls with no acknowledgement or resolutions. We will not be purchasing any CAT machines and advised all our trades partner of our experience.nnEngine sensor malfunctioned, 2 weeks out of warranty and charged $800 to repair. Brand new CAT hitch one year old 305 excavator 1000 hours Coupler wedge not releasing, again not covered under warranty as the part of fitted at CAT not in China so the fine print says it’s not covered under warranty, any way to avoid liability they have done each time.nnWe will be offloading all our CAT machines and purchase from Kubota moving forward
Postive experience ordering genuine parts for an older Cat 428B loader backhoe , most parts were available except the ram seal kits for original 4 in 1 bucket rams which were supplied incorrect , but William Adams did at least return the incorrect parts for full credit on satisfactory return , and there back support appears to have some depth , which I appreciated .
Took my Cat 301.8 to Clayton to get a minor issues with the Turtle Rabbit switch not working properly.nExpecting Cat do fix the problem properly.........I got that WRONG.n$1700.00 later get home & the Alternator is not working, the Turtle Rabbit switch is worse. Took it back two hour round trip after booking it in for a quick look.nTold I would need to leave it for the day. After asking several times , I was reluctantly told it would be another $500.00 just to look at at it!!. Clearly I was not going to get the service I was expecting, so took it back home.n4 Hours travel & 2 half days wasted, along with the $1700.00 Not what I expected.
Parcel pick-up used to be simple. Now that OH&S&BS Disease has caught on, they have made it absurdly complicated, bouncing you from one dept to another, trying to find some contact who they probably never heard of , wasting massive time.
Today we had Peter McRae onsite for a 5T Paddi brake down and he has done a fantastic job. Very helpful and followed our OHS policies and procedures without a complaint which I find rare in onsite assistance. Well done William Adams
