The best hair salon in Sydney, let alone Surry Hills!!! The entire staff is so friendly with a great vibe. They work as a as a strong team together and made me feel so welcomed. Every stylist I had was fantastic. I'm very fussy with my hair, and every time, they out did themselves. I was over for Sydney World Pride with many events, so I had appointments nearly every day. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for over 6 months and I love it. I came to Piet on the recommendation of a friend. Background - I’m a 29yo male with thick hair and I never know what to do with it. I’ve historically gone to barbers because they were cheaper and no high end hairdresser could ever cut it in a way I was happy with - within three weeks it would go back to being a helmet, despite all their attempts at thinning it out. At my first consult, I presented Piet with a few ideas via Pinterest and he quickly devised a plan to make my hair look good. He used some techniques I’ve never heard of before, and lo and behold my hair has looked good for 2 months between each cut. He also taught me how to blow-dry and style it, in terms that actually made sense to me. I absolutely love my hair now. I love the time he takes with me on each appointment, I love that he never tries to sell me a product unless I actually ask. I’ve tried 4 or 5 hair stylists at premium salons across Sydney, and this is the first time that I truly feel that it is worth it. Side note - my mother is pickier than me with her hairdressers and this is the second time in my entire life that I’ve seen her completely satisfied after her haircut. Friendly and professional team. They listen what you'd like to do and accommodate, where possible. They provide suggestions and follow new trends. I love the products that they use. My hair smells and feels amazing for days, every time I go! Highly recommended!
