Good walking tracks, called in with my wife for a bit of bird spotting, a little quiet in that respect. Good information boards at the main entrance and a great bird hide overlooking a small patch of water. The remains of the old rifle range can be seen about 1/2 a kilometre from the car park.
The Heathlands are 5 stars, but let down by inadequate signage. Dangerously inadequate, tracks are mostly unmarked. Lift your game Parks.
