No waterslides, even though the photos suggest there are. Might neesd to update the photos. Otherwise, nice place to go on a warm day, good visibility for parents supervising. Not too bad.
This YMCA facility is an excellent resource for a Country town and for those visiting, offers the opportunity to train in some decent facilities.nI used the venue for lap swimming as it was included with the Fitness Passport Membership. Pool was clean, comfortable temperature and not too busy - the lanes are really only suitable for one swimmer though. Lifeguards always on patrol and in the vicinity for safety.nDidn't get a chance to utilise the spa and sauna options, but good to have those facilities available.nLoads of free parking available.
A great day stop!nKids were so happy with the indoor play space and the kids pool, that we are going back again today. Lifeguards were very friendly and helpfulnWill come every time we have a stop in Whyalla. Thank you for a wonderful facility.
Pool area is small. But adequate for kids. There are 2 pools. Both indoors water slide is closed off for unknown reason. Lifeguard on duty was really cool. But there was a birthday party on so an entire pool closed.nFacility appeared unclean.
Everything worked fine, clean, strictly supervised, the water's warm and not crowded. Had a good family time there!
