Easy check-in.nClean rooms.nPerfect stop over from Coober Pedy to Adelaide.nPretty town.nSadly the cuttlefish tours at Point Lowly were booked out.nDefinitely will return to this motel.
Great and prompt service, highly functional check in and out. Only reason 4 stars as the Internet was not working and I had no one I could contact at reception. Then I tried calling the deception the other day, but no one answered.
The double room was neat and clean. However, the bathroom had some old features that were not too pleasant to use/manage. Overall, a budget-friendly place to stay when road tripping around the Eyre Peninsula.
I booked this place for 2 nights and 2 doors away were a group of people with kids who had their chairs out on the front on the top floor and were out until past midnight for both nights making a noise and kids running up and down.nnI wasn't able to get through to the motel owners. Probably deliberately set up like his to complain about the noise. I did leave a message on their phone.nnAnyway, I asked for an invoice later and when the lady at the reception called they always call on a hidden number I did point out this issue. Anyway, to my surprise rather than apologizing she was like 'they are people too' I mean are you serious? So you can think it's ok for people to sit outside their doors and make noise at midnight and you think it's acceptable ? That says it all really. I wouldn't book here if it was the last place in Whyalla.nnI mean why were kids playing ball games outside my room until midnight I don't know but seems their place allows it to happen.
Cannot even rate 1 star edit, had to mark a star so this review could be posted.nDespite being able to select 4.am check in, by 5.30 had still not been able to check in. Left in disgust about not being able to break the journey with much needed sleep. Got about 40 minutes nap in my Ute before driving on a further two hours absolutely dog tired.
