Was in the area and discovered this little gem! Absolutely loved browsing the aisles and picking up items that aren’t found in mainstream supermarkets. Stocks everything from pantry items, organic fruit and veg, fresh meat and seafood, artisan breads and treats. It’s adorable and reminds me of small grocers in NYC
I live 1.45 hours away and not familiar with the area but realised very quickly it is hard to find parking even on the street so I thought I'd call ahead today to see of there is parking near by the store shopping centre etc because my husband and I were going to walk 20min to get there if there wasn't parking. When I called I was greeted with a very rude women who rudely said "NO THERE IS NO CUSTOMER PARKING" I never asked for customer parking I asked if there is parking availability close by then I said "is there street parking available or is it really hard to find parking I am not from the area and we will just walk if we have to" which she again very rudely sighed and said "yes there is". I was excited to find a store I could do my regular organic shopping as I will be up every fortnight and was planning on spending $100's each fortnight but after the rude manners I didn't bother and will be going elsewhere. Does this women not like her job? I get treated so much better at louis Vuitton and this is only a retail store. Why was it so hard to be nice?
2 stars for excellent quality. However exorbitant prices no wonder people Resort to Woolies. $17 for one dragonfruit. I bought some apples and tomatoes at half price which made them a high manageable price. $4 50 was also manageably high for a small cos lettuce . $8.16 for 340g green beans bought as a treat . I understand organic is expensive . Is Wholefoods house even more expensive because it's at Woollahra?
It’s hard to find super fresh organic vegetables and fruits yet this place not only amply re-stocks regularly they also source from farmers who care about the quality of the soil which is critical for taste and nutrition. Organic does not mean good quality and supermarkets are a good example of providing inferior and often old produce. So if you can’t get to farmer’s markets this is the next best thing. Pricey yes but cheaper in the long run than compromising your health with pesticide and herbicide ridden food grown in dead soil.
Good labelling of food to know whether it is organic, really friendly staff and carries my fav choc, spencers cocoa Also good to see half price clearance sections
I spend a significant amount of money here but when I walked in today to get my extremely overpriced bread, which I don’t mind spending at the inflated $5 to what they sell themselves, I was greeted with a shouting “DO YOU HAVE A MASK” not, Would you mind putting....I have a spare mask if you’ve forgotten yours...no, just flat out rude. I did have a mask, I just had a brief moment of forgetfulness. I’m not opposed to wearing a mask and wear one all day at work. You could tell she even startled herself but still no apology. Unfortunately I’ll have to find another stockist for my noni’s bread and everything else I buy there.
Painfully rude staff. Both servers didn’t even crack a smile, offered no help and just clearly didn’t want to be there. Both my partner and I were horrified and vowed never to go back, it’s a shame as we are new to the area and like to support local businesses over woolies/coles.
Small but convenient. Has all the groceries you need with helpful staff if you need something specific. Especially love the freshness and quality of the produce. A must for those serious about quality food.
Absolutely love this place, great organic fruit and veg range always fresh, lots of variety. The staff are helpful and lovely highly recommend this place.
Wonderful range of organic fresh vegetables and fruit as well as all pantry staples. I do all my grocery shopping here.
