This morning me and my daughter came here for breakfast, as we had been here before and quite enjoyed it. My daughter had ordered the kids pancakes. Around the half an hour mark of waiting, we started to realise the food was taking a while. But we kept that off our minds for another 20 minutes. By the time it hit the hour mark, my daughter asked the staff if our order had gotten through. It turned out they hadn’t even started making it! I told them I was going to cancel it, but they just looked at me blankly and walked off. It wasn’t until ten minutes later my daughter’s pancakes had arrived. The food looked like it had just been thrown on the plate recklessly. 13 year old children can get quite on your nerves when they are hungry, which also dampened the mood. My own food had come even later, which I personally was not the most pleased about. To add insult to injury, the food altogether was extremely expensive, the total half a hundred dollars from just kids pancakes, a bowl of chicken and rice, and a coffee.  I do not recommend unless you have plenty of time on your hands and don’t mind expensive food.

Went in to order a coffee, girl behind the counter was rude and spoke to me like an employee. Guess it was my fault for being born white/male/ working class. Wont be returning. Shame because the coffee there is usally pretty good.

Where do you get free Christmas drinks and dinner to say thank you to their loyal customers. Only at Elwood ‘Bunker Speckles ‘. We love and thank you all , for the best Chai lattes in town.  Dom and Soula

These people will go out of their way to inconvenience you. Just because you pay for breakfast doesn't mean you'll actually get any. Really horrible start to the day, won't make the mistake again

The teriyaki poke ball was really tasty. Highly recommend it. Bacon and egg toastie was just as good. The coffee was the only let down. 4 stars overall.

Such a great place, perfect corner space for outdoor seething. Service is always excellent , friendly,  prompt. Food is lovely and well priced. Today I tried the hamhock croquettes - absolutely  delicious.

Love this place! If you’re eating, make sure you’re hungry. Servings are delicious and generous.

Just went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The salads were really generous and filling, the chicken burger was really well seasoned and the staff were super friendly. They even let the customers take home some left over pastries instead of just throwing them out. They fed dogs as they went past and were very engaging with the community. Exactly the type of energy you want from a cafe on a warm weekend.

Great food but it was super busy so took a while to be seated and felt a little rushed. Would still come back for the food.
