Definitely a good option to stop for breakfast or lunch. Many 'home made' menu options, good coffee and friendly staff. Plus a book-share library.
Found this gem during our drive back to healesville. The chicken burger is superb. The taste of the pineapple, melted cheese and the succulent chicken simply synergise so well! A must try.
Awesome pancake, strong aromatic black tea and superb coffee and all served with a smile. Highly recommended

This place is an excellent oasis on this road. Food is good, coffee is good, no complaints re: food ever. However, the bloke that runs the show needs to relax a little. If someone asks if a chicken and salad roll is available or can be made, a third hand response to his assistant to "tell him to look at the menu" is rubbish customer service. No amount of recovery humour will help.
Dropped in for a coffee to stretch the legs and give the new puppy a bit of a break before the drive. Staff are friendly, coffee is better than most city cafes also a good choice of baked goods and normal milk bar stuff expected in a country cafe. Did not have time to check out the menu but there is ample seating inside and tables outside.
Went here for dinner tonight Friday 9/11 - they have some random weekend dinners on... and it was VERY good! Lots of food options available, very tasty. Alcohol & yummy sweets also available. A really good place to go if you don't want a pub dinner!
Delightful little cafe, run by the family that owns it; all very friendly and welcoming. Just HAD to try the quiche after reading the other review on here - and it was fantastic! I paid what I expected and got what I paid for. Selection of home made cakes and slices are simply divine. Atmosphere was very cosy. Fire kept me warm and the fabulous original art deco couch just added to the overall feel of the place. Would recommend it to anyone. Hubby had the Whitty Burger and he still raves about it.
Love this little cafe. Perfect spot for lunch after riding the Mansfield Whitfield Road. Love the scrumptious roast veggie foccaccia. Good coffee too. The Chai comes in a teapot with honey in the side. Highly recommend.
Great village cafe, providing an excellent breakfast & coffee. Oh & the choice of background music really added to a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Try the 'King Valley ' well worth a visit.
