One of my favorite restaurants/bars to visit while in Perth Western Australia. We often like to take Auntie here to eat and have a great cocktail.nnThey have great specials and are often quite busy. We chose the Wednesday steak special and it was still a great tasting steak at a decent portion. I required a change to my salad although on special they still accommodated my allergies. There was a wait as we acquired the last table available, however our cocktails were delicious and the food was worth waiting for.nnClean restrooms. Courteous responsible staff. Great atmosphere.
The food looked amazing. The chips, gravy and long Island iced tea were perfect. The steak was very disappointing. The chef cooked both the sirloin and scotch fillet perfect medium rare but both steaks were tough, chewy. Not great when we spent over $120 all up. Don't think I'll be going back :-
A local for us. However last night was a disappointment. Ordered dinner 6pm - not just the special, also ordered 2x of the finest steaks. Understanding a busy night and working within customer service, I expected and allowed extra time for our meals, however when you start to notice others around you getting meals before you, knowing we ordered prior and a lot more in advance, time was getting on now after 7pm! I decided to ask the waitress, her response - unfortunately the orders hadn’t got sent to the kitchen and they have a back log. She came back after checking with kitchen staff to explain she can see ours in the line and shouldn’t take much longer….. 7.15pm finally got our meals, steak was lovely except cold, the complete meal was cold. Usually I would mention, give feedback at the time however understanding how busy it was I refrained from doing so, also knowing the staff wasn’t completely customer service confident! Disappointing with all staff knowing the issue they had stumbled upon, yet no acknowledge, no offer for something extra, at-least for the time and disappointment nor even engaged any extra within the table service, no how was your meal etc. I feel staff avoided this knowing how bad the service, time, cold food was and particularly paying 50-60 dollars per meal! If were a 19 dollar special I could be a little more understanding. Unfortunately disappointed the service was not raised to offer anything due to this!! Particularly a grilled steak house!!
Don't come here enough. Staff are always onto it. Food is always shmick at a fair price. Always an incredible variety of beer. Having a couple of $18 pints at the price of $11 thanks to Loaded Rewards. And today I was served by a young man called Marau sorry if it's spelt incorrectly who was incredibly polite and helpful. His manner and knowledge were spot on. Hope this place has all the success moving forward.
Went on a Tuesday night and surprised how busy it was. Not a spare table, luckily we had booked.nGreat selection of their own beers, all available in 2 sizes, middy & pint. I chose the Whitty’s Draughty, a crisp 4.5% lagernGood menu, I went with one of the daily specials, a beef Rogan Josh. It was delicious but could have done with a touch more chili as I didn’t get any heat at all. In saying that, the spice used was very tasty & a good sized serving
