This place is good as it has 2 hr free parking but becareful.. I once went there, parked for 1hr and left.nI then came back 2 hrs later, parked for 45 min and when i left i got charged for parking over 3 hrs...nI disputed it and received $110 fine...which i find is outrageous...
I just want to know what idiot has designed or built this car park. The “STOP” sign is about 60 cm after the wall. I reversed my car into the parking slot, thinking I still had 60 cm to go, but the edge of the wall or slab of the upper floor shattered my rear window and inflicted a $2000 repair cost on me.
We paid at the machine. Walked straight up to our car on level 8 left straight away it was quit so got to the boom gate quick.nWhen we put the ticket in it asked for an outstanding balance of $13.00.nWe called the guy he came out and said we must of took too long to get to the car so it added extra.nWe insisted he please check you cameras but he brushed that of obviously too hard and said he can’t lift the gate. We had no choice to pay the extra to get out. Rip offs.nI won’t be going back there!!
As many others have commented, the spots in this parking lot are ridiculously tight and cannot possibly be to standard. If you need to get children in and out of seats — forget it! You’ll need to drive your car out of the spot first. If you’re alone and there’s no one to stand with your pram while you drive out, well then you’re in a very tricky situation! I, again like many others have commented, also shattered my rear window reversing into a spot with a low hanging ridge! Yes, there’s signs, but you can’t see them in your mirror whilst reversing. Council really needs to re-do the lines in this parking lot so that it’s fit for purpose and users stop damaging their cars and those of others. I’m reporting this damage to the regulator; if council wants to profit from this asset, they need to maintain it to standard.
Park on the even levels for lift access. Learnt the hard way parking on level 7 with a pram. Very tight car spots makes getting baby out the car near impossible.
