I just want to know what idiot has designed or built this car park. The “STOP” sign is about 60 cm after the wall. I reversed my car into the parking slot, thinking I still had 60 cm to go, but the edge of the wall or slab of the upper floor shattered my rear window and inflicted a $2000 repair cost on me.
Supposedly free parking for 2 hours. Ends up being an expensive one due to the overhang concrete where the signs are only readable when you’re close enough to have your windows smashed. Impossible to tell how close the overhang is and sensors do not pick up at this height. You wouldn’t see the “front in” either if you reverse park … well, not until you smashed your window like I did.
The smallest car park I have ever seen and good luck with your rear window!!! Mines dead
Whistler Car Park in Manly is one of the worst I’ve used. The car spaces are extremely tight, the ramps are narrow and awkward to navigate, and there are low concrete overhangs everywhere that make it feel like you’re constantly at risk of scraping or damaging your vehicle. It’s a stressful experience from start to finish. Take your time if you choose to park here.
Council parking. 1st, 2 hours free! Parking spaces are tight but manageable. They have motor bike parking and allocated parks for Mums with Prams. Super close to manly wharf, all the shops & the beach. The Carpark needs a good high pressure clean to make it look brighter and cleaner.
