We went for the Lankan Street-food Dinner night they host on Fridays. The vegetarian options was delicious, beautiful flavors and a great mix of curries. We also ordered a serve of the Jackfruit curry which was great! Overall highly recommended, however be aware that all curries were quite spicy, which is beautifully authentic but may not be to everyone’s liking.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Poor service from the minute we walked in, after 5 minutes of no acknowledgement, the chef came out and gave us menus. I ordered poached eggs on toast, the eggs were completely hard, and on top of that I bit into a piece of aluminium foil which wasn’t pleasant. Shocked that this place has a 4.5 star overall rating. Very underwhelming to say the least.
Want a good coffee ? Here it is !!’ Good service .... Awesome coffee You can always tell a good place when people are lined up .. I noticed they had 3 grinders n they also do frappes n cold brew I only had a crossiant ... delish I’m def going back for brekky .. mm mm
Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing service! My menu favorites are, the smoothie bowl and the French toast, both of which are the best I've ever had!
Service was fantastic with very polite staff. Drinks were out in under 5 minutes when it was decently busy, with our 2 large dishes out pretty soon after. Good serving size, prices were $20~ for most meals. Burger was a bit average but it's more of a breakfast place.
Comfortable and friendly atmosphere, have enjoyed the food and coffee on numerous occasions. Friendly and capable staff. The $10 coffee + egg and bacon roll seemed like a good deal, however the roll was very disappointing. It seemed like a white roll straight from Woolworths. Just a bit basic in my opinion.
Bazza's burger was delicious and it came with the best thick cut chips I've had in a while. The secret seasoning on them appears to be closely guarded : Kid friendly with colouring and high chairs available and kids meals with the same great flavours as the big ones.
My husband and I have been going to this amazing place on an almost weekly basis for nearly four years. We absolutely love the food, the coffee and the staff - everything! They have so many regular customers other than us as well. Best place in Chelsea!!
Well I have to say I am shocked by the last review on here regarding the service at this place. Obviously different days have different staff, but our experience today was awesome. It was our first visit and we were blown away by how professional, attentive and helpful the staff were. They were very young ladies but they were excellent and a credit to the cafe, I told them so afterwards. The food was great too, a refreshing twist on the same old same old menu's. Sri Lankan curry was exquisite we are curry lovers, little one's chicken & chips were really crispy with no grease in sight and tasty fab even for a non chip fan like me. My big breakfast with extra wilted spinach with lemon and chopped red onion, yummo was the mutts nuts too, gorgeous chorizo, bacon, poached eggs and home made baked beans best outside my kitchen. Only one minor groan was the curry needed another a spoonful more to have made it a fair portion. I had my usual fight with the sourdough as well, which I think should be accompanied by steak knives. All up a good experience and well worth the money. Thanks Aunty
Our favourite place in Chelsea. Very homely, always friendly, down to earth staff, no rush, just relax, and very personable. Always a spare table with a newspaper and chat with staff. Highly recommend as a place with warm vibes and a feel at home. The rear courtyard is definitely the best place to sit in the sun / shade, and unwind. Just don't take our table! haha. Jokes. Thanks again, see you all again soon for a cuppa!
