An iconic attraction in Brisbane, and some pleasant views of the river and Brisbane skyline from the wheel. The queues were relatively short at our time of visiting, and we had an entire cabin to ourselves. We circulated about 5 times and were on the wheel for about 10 minutes or so. Staff were helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. The optional photos are quite expensive $28.
Nice activity to do during a hot summer day! The carriage has air con so you can cool down : there are many great views to take in during the rotations on the wheel - a total of 5 rotations You receive a guide as well as audio which explains the surrounding sights and attractions.
We had a lovely time on the wheel. It was so cool to see the city at night from so high high up. And we were allowed to go around 5 times, definitely got our moneys worth. We went after dinner and there was no wait at all. Plus, there's a nice photo opportunity if you're looking for a momento.
Great views of the city to the mountains. We're very lucky to live in such a pretty city. You can also buy drinks for your ride soft drinks to wine. The over all price $$ but worth it for the views.
It is suitable for the afternoon trip, it will be hot in the morning or at noon. There are many areas where you can relax, including the famous man-made beach, which is very suitable for family and friends.
OK. Not that big but still a decent view. Seats in gondolas a bit tatty across the board. As they were slowly coming to rest there were quite a number that I hoped didn't stop in front of our group. Could do with a reupholster. We got about 5 rotations for our ride. Staff friendly.
Good experience, the wheel provides a beautiful, picturesque view of the Brisbane city, you can look far and wide from your cabin but it's a bit pricey though. We paid $65 for 2 adults n 2 kids under 11 and family photo. The wheel is located at very happening location. There is beautiful walking track on the south Bank where you can also ride electric bikes/scooters.
Very nice experience. You get a nice view of the city. The cabins are air conditioned. Its a bit small from the wheel in Singapore.
Great communication from staff and service was quick. We went around 5 times and enjoyed the ride. We didn't have to wait long as it wasnt crowded at all. A must do when your in the area. Cafes and restaurants near by and beautiful views of the city. Kids under age of 4 are free. Air conditioned inside. They even have a vip carriage. There is no free car parking near only across the road under the museum but costs $15 for 2hrs and can get very expensive the longer you stay. Alot of parking though and easy to direct from the car park to the ferris wheel.
I had an excellent experience. The staff is decent and helpful—the breathtaking views of Brisbane city. Recommended to go and admire the beauty of the city.
