I would give them no stars if i could. We went to this post office last week with three parcels which had stamps on. the gentleman serving told me they DON'T ACCEPT STAMPS ON PARCELS, only letters!!! YEAH RIGHT. this must be the only POST OFFICE IN NEW ZEALAND THAT DOESN'T ACCEPT STAMPS!!!! What a joke we were there 1/2 hour while the guy serving rang up people and continually told us his system didn't allow stamps and we would have to pay again....we post every day and even told him how to enter it into his computer that the parcels were prepaid. While on the phone her stated his managers regularly turns people away with stamps on parcels as they don't accept them. Just another opportunity to try and rip off the customer. I have complained to NZ post. If you go there with a parcel with stamps already on it, DON'T LET THEM TURN YOU AWAY OR PAY AGAIN because they are telling you BS, you are allowed to post parcels with stamps.

i have had enough bad experiences in this shop to compel me to rate this - the 1st business I have ever rated - but really the service you receive in here is appalling. There is an older lady with a grey bob in there and several times i have bee in there and she is on the phone - yesterday she actually told me she had promised to call someone so I would have to wait. Number 1 rule of customer service - serve the person on front of you - they have bothered to leave their home to attend your premises they are the priority. Previously this same woman has spoken at length with sales reps by phone (i know this because if had to listen to an extended conversation regarding greeting cards orders) while the entire shop filled up. Even the most inexperienced of assistants knows that the customer ALWAYS come before the sales reps - at the end of the conversation by way of apology the woman announced that she had begin the call before the 6 or so people began lining up in a queue - not the point - when the place is full of customers - advise the rep your talking to that you are now busy and put the phone down. Another time in here I asked for a stamped envelope - which i had to self address for return mail - this was met with blank stares and claims that this cant be done??? After having to convince the woman that indeed this is possible i had to coax her through the process. I know this is the country but surely the basics of retail ie the customer (in front of you) is the priority and try to assist with solutions and options not declare what isn't possible, still apply. Pity there isn't an alternative to this abismal little shop of disfucntion.
