The pride of the Coromandel.

Whangamata Club has been around for years. A facility that prides itself on being the best in Whangamata.

An award winning bistro awaits (open from 5:30pm), with a large dining area, outdoor seating and two bars. We also have a TAB, a gambling area and regular raffles

For entertainment, we have a number of free sports to play - snooker, pool (including a kids table), darts and table tennis.

We hold the largest amount of events in town and we welcome members and guests.

We are from Porirua in Wellington and this place leaves all our clubs in the dust. Highly recommend, awesome food, wonderful staff, will come back

Says all welcome… unless you have kids enjoying the music and an older women complains about her not having the dance floor to herself…. Disappointed.nWould have thought that the old would encourage the younger ones to enjoy the music and atmosphere but it seems that’s not the case

Had a great time my first time there watching an awesome band called Pieces of 8 and loved the pool tables. Pot Black are competition tables and I'm a CNZ player so loved it all round

The shanks and chicken burger was a hit, but the Mac and Cheese was pretty much half tide.nnCompared to last year, the menu options for vegetarians and vegans were limited and non existing. Vegetarians had a choice of 2 mains and nothing for vegans, bar a side of veggies or salad which was offered when we spoke to the chef about options.nnWe ended up leaving to find dinner in town.nnThe service and hospitality for the rest of the club was lovely though.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit. If not a member already it's a good idea to join. Although they welcome non members
