Very nice and authentic northeastern Chinese cuisine.
Absolutely excellent north eastern Chinese food. Really fast, fresh and delicious. Leaves you feeling really good and not heavy or bloated. The sweet and sour pork is exactly what sweet and sour pork SHOULD taste like. It also has the right crunchy, texture. You won't find bad Australian style sweet and sour pork here, this is the real Chinese taste. Do try it, it's their speciality.
Harbin cuisine, friendly staff and lots of new dishes I haven't tried before. Very tasty with options ranging from hot, mild, vegetarian and pork-centric. Open lunch and dinner. Great to see new restaurants trying Chinese dishes new to the average Melbourne diner.
Love the natural flavours. Been in Surrey Hills for ages and this is a hidden treasure. My history of Chinese sweet and sour pork is a thick battered sickly mess. This signature disk is magnificent. Loves the natural flavours of Kong Poo chicken as well. I have found my new favourite!!!
Food is fantastic with quite large serving sizes. Definitely not your run of the mill Asian cuisine. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
