I was so surprised with the decor of this place. It was my first experience and loved it. I was there with my toddler, the staff at the entrance and in the cafe were extremely helpful and kind. Very clean toilets and tables. The little kids area was fine for my toddler to explore. I look forward to having a kid free experience soon for some cocktails with friends.
Nice Club with 2 restaurants and 1 bar/cafe inside. Not far from Ashfield and Summer Hill Stations
We have been here a few times and always had a good value and tasty meal in a reasonable time. However, today the waiting time in both restaurants was 40+ minutes and as we were short in time we decided to order some food from the bar. The ordered meat pie was a vegetable pie and only half warm, the chicken and avocado wrap which came in a sealed plastic bag was half chicken, but the other half most strangely roasted tomato. Really poor experience and definitely not recommended!
I enjoyed myself here. Its not a massive place but its nice to look around, get a drink and a snack and watch some rugby. Got the prawn rockets and some fries and they tasted good and the price was right. Even got a free cookie from the bar. They have a couple of restaurants for a fancier sit-down dinner and a full bar upstairs and downstairs. Washroom was spotless and the lobby was nice. Staff at the door were kind and said they were happy to have us as long as we register.
We ate at the Wok On restaurant at Wests Ashfield. Have been here about 3 times in the past year. The food is always tasty and seems like good value. The staff are friendly and efficient except there are not enough of them. Every visit we have trouble finding a table that is free of used dishes. There is not enough table-clearing which makes it look and feel pretty sub-standard.
