Still in shock by the treatment I received today. I didn’t catch the ladies name but have made a formal complaint so hopefully she will get the feedback. It was not at the teller area but in one of the little cubicles.nI was spoken to with attitude, made to feel stupid for opening a second account online for my son, belittled, interrogated on two cards having been sent out. “Does your mail go missing often then” she said. I bet your son has the other card, go home and ask him. This after telling her three times that we only ever received one card. None of which had anything to do with my actually enquiry. “Why did you do this. Why did you do that “nWho opened the first account up for you she asked, they would have explained everything ?nI can’t remember I said .. it was ages ago.nIt waa Teresa and it wasn’t ages ago. .nafter 20 mins says “you’ll have to bring him in anyway “nBye bye Westpac. Very bad service, I done the online open kid under 14 years old kid bank account go to there to provide ID documents approved, my kid under 12 years old don't need to sign, I wait for 30 minutes but the counter lady said need him there and sign. What the joke? Next day I want to Cannington branch, they do it straight away the ID documents. In my personal opinion, don't go to Thornile branch, it is waste the time and not friendly staff. Not happy about it!
I have called several times Westpac Thornlie branch to get an appointment for business account opening but no one bother to answer the phone calls. Very pathetic service. If you are not answering the phone calls then why you have given your branch phone number.
Disgusting customer service from Teresa had so much attitude, I went to follow up on a dispute that had been done 3 months ago for my Dad. Teresa didn’t want to help said to book an appointment or call on the phone in a very rude manner. I understand that sometimes staff can be busy but Teresa definitely needs Customer service training because she doesn’t know how to talk to Customers!!! Also staff don’t seem well trained as they didn’t even know what to do, that’s why they told me to book and appointment or call on the phone. I called customer service on the phone and got a much better customer service experience.
I had an appointment today at 11.30 with a lady, not to sure of her name but she was so wonderful, i was very stressed and she put me at ease and handled my issues so easily, for that i was so grateful, what a wonderful person your bank has working for you
