I really enjoy coming here. Its always so clean and the equipment always in working order. I changed from another local gym because it was always so dirty. This place is a breath of fresh air.
Staff are nice and friendly. Equipment are average some of them look very outdated and some look decent and its not an aesthetically pleasing gym. There are air ducts running through the roof of the gym floor and the lighting is nothing special. Can also get quite busy for a small gym.nnFor only 2 available locations and memberships from $16 per week, i would suggest going with something that has better equipment and visuals to get a better bang for your buck as $16 is quite expensive for the quality
Gym is very well run. Always clean with all equipment in good order. Staff know what they're doing and take great care with Covid cleaning. Always a pleasant gym to attend and push my limits. A credit to all involved.
The gym is located at Sydney Western University. It has memberships available and free trials available before you buy a membership. There are also exercise classes on the ground floor, which I enjoyed watching. In a room situated near the gym is a room where they train future personal trainers.
Been going here since 2003 when I was at uni definitely changed since back in the day prices have roughly stayed the same since all those years before COVID-19 casual fee was $7.5 before Covid-19 hit, after coming back after 3.5 month lockdown and the prices jumped to $18.5 what the hell.nI have now moved on to a local gym branch at which they are at 2 local suburbs I travel between i can go to either of them and there $5 casual fee is great and they have heaps of updated compound movement equipment.nnMay 2022 Update.. My very last gym session spoke to one of the attendees in the morning YMCA bought the gym not owned by the uni anymore. Overpriced it’s not like your offering sauna a pool, tv doesn’t even work at this gym no sports channel and you’re asking for $18.50, equipment outdated. I’m happy now at my new gym.
