Was pretty keen for the cook your own steak experience and wasn’t disappointed with what was provided. The meats were nice and the salad with dressing was pretty good too. Staff were friendly and there’s an abundance of seating available at the time we went. Unfortunately if you choose to cook your own steak, you cannot have the option of vegetables and mash but only the salad but it was available in the past.
Great place. The Chefs and staff are friendly. Cook your own quality steak for good prices. The salads are fresh and nice dressings. The Dianne sauce is great. Worth a visit. Even look after your dogs with treats and water in the beer garden.
Very nice modern pub with a tasteful fitout. Self BBQ facility is such a great idea. The quality of meat is excellent. The service is top notch and the food is excellent, such a lovely staff and welcoming venue. Highly recommend!!
Recently went back to the bistro to enjoy the best chips in Sydney, only to find the worst. Now serving French Fry's which were cooked and left to dry out. Very disappointed that the thick juicy chips have now been replaced. Sorry we will not be returning.
Cook your own steak. Not a great deal for vegetarians that you wouldn't have at home. Fair selection of beers. Nice seating Walkability: Easy walk from west ryde station.
Cranky staff in restaurants. I used yo dine there over weekends but never return anymore. Old lady on cashier refused to get order to cook by myself on bbq because she was taking her time chatting with another person holding me in the line. On my turn she said it's 9.06 o'clock and she won't accept any more orders. She was so nasty. Never return
Great food but drinks are well overpriced in comparison to other establishments on the area. Smoking area has some trashy patrons.
Great service and good selection of beers on tap, if you're up for cooking your own steak the prices are very reasonable. The bistro area looks to be updated recently and was very nice. Kids loved the desserts. Will definitely come again.
Bistro: Unique and fun experience to cook your own steak $10 more for the chef to cook it for you. Decent price for the steak, which comes with chips and a side salad. Fun place to bring out-of-country visitors :
