Our work guides and supports the sustainable development of the West Coast through the management of air, land, water and coastal resources. We also co-ordinate Civil Defence, transport and economic development and are committed to creating a community that encourages discussion, self-expression and mirrors the values and mission of the West Coast Regional Council including being responsible, effective and respectful.
To work with the people of the West Coast to sustainably manage the environment for the social, cultural and economic well-being of present and future generations.
