This place has certainly changed in the last 30 years.nMy first disappoinment has to be the outragous parking fees that there is now,paid parking at $10 hour,even for locals, having said that the whole area has had an uplift.nNew enclosed park area for kids aswell as the pirate ship further up.nClean,covered modern toilets accessible for all.nCovered bbq area,seats,picnic tables and water refill stations,rubbish bins and even free doggie clean up bags.nLots of walking tracks which are sign posted,a board walk,boat ramp and a coffee van was there.nLots of ducks,birds and nature.
Great for kids play ground and picnic, 1 hr lakeside walk
Nice fenced kids play area. Paths for scootering. Lovely quiet space next to the lake. Good for a gentle walk too. Canoeing and fishing allowed
Beautiful playground with loads of parking across the streets and playground for kids.nYou can do boating here it bushwalking depending on what you want. A small coffee drive up van and toilets are available to use.nnBbq seating is also available with boat ramps.
It's a beautiful place to just relax
