I don't know if management has changed but one of the staff possibly the owner was very hostile toward us this morning. I don't usually write reviews and can see many people love this cafe but as a queer woman I won't ever be returning to this place. Coffee is good but the atmosphere and disrespect is not worth it.

I LOVE the coffee from Welsh Blacks. Great taste every single time I have ever been there which is at least once a week. Staff are very friendly and welcoming to everyone. My favourite Newcastle CBD coffee experience.

Such a wonderful experience, warm and vibrant atmosphere, quality coffee, 10/10 food friendly and welcoming staff, couldn't recommend Welsh blacks enough!! Welsh blacks you have gained yourself a loyal customer will be returning again. Best avocado and labneh on toast going round !
