Big bowl. Lots of features with coaping. A bit to hardcore for me. Might be good for better skaters, the ramps feel quite steep / tight. Has a round rain and plenty of manual blocks, but they aren't very beginner friendly either. Most are quite high. The pool isn't as tight as the rest, but hard for me to judge at my skill level. Has parking, picnic tables, one light for the carpark that overflows onto the corner of the skatepark. Park #8 of the 171+ skateparks I am looking to explore in and around Brisbane. went there on the weekend, no sketchy people there. DONT GO THERE. the worst skate park ive ever been to. ramps are to steep/tight no places to trick out of. nice bowl though but you have to be pretty good to ride it. dont waste you time to go there would not recommended it.
Got to be quick and creative in the small street section. Love the bowl. Tranie is a bit steeper than usually.
Dated and half the park is too step/tight to ride. A lot of the surface is too worn out to roll across smoothly but the bowl is a quite nice, a good size and decent transition. Basic ledge and flat bar are pretty good to practice on.
4 stars for the bowl. Ya don't get alot of good bowls in Brizzy because of council height regulations. This bowl does its best to deliver.
I walk by the skate park a lot. With my dog. You know, keeping the oxygen flowing. The old saying of happy dog happy life is true, even if it doesn’t rhyme. Anyway, he’s a bad skater, but enthusiastic. Bless his heart, he tries! Very often I see teenagers there without helmets or protective gear. I guess they are mature enough to make these decisions. But then sometimes I see little kids with their parents, and these kids have No Helmet. No Gear. What is going on? Do these negligent parents want busted up bones and broken teeth? Do they want brains dashed against the concrete? I sure don’t! And then I see a family with geared up kids and they are laughing and the air sparkles with the happiness of children. And all is well. Nice place
Not worth it, the skate park is tiny and there are no flat areas to glide. As for the rest of the park, very boring nothing to do.
Whilst it was ok i didn't think it was very good. Its not very spread out, but Im going by the skatepark we have near our house at Elimbah which is very spread out so kids arent smashing into each other & little kids have no time to get out of the way of the big kids and was quite disgusted with the amount of rubbish strwwn around the park. Wouldnt ever take my kids here again they are excellent skaters but got smashed a few times by the older kids doing tricks with their skateboards even i copped a wayward skateboard in the back and i was nowhere near them which never happens at our skatepark because theres different areas for differwnt stages of learners and experts. The older kids needed their mouths washed out with soap with the diagusting language coming out of their mouths which another parents said something to them and were told to f- off then if they didnt like it. Definately not a good experience.
It's a great park to have picnic with kids or take your fur baby for a play as there is a dog park, it has 2 sheltered areas and also has exercise equipment
It's not a new park so can't fairly be compared with new ones but has some ok lines and is good for a casual sesh.
