I would like to thankyou for my new brows. I highly recommend Skinn and Waxx to everyone who needs their beauty needs meet. Very friendly team. Well worth the visit.
I’m not the person to give a bad review but the fact that I had a service, then after the service had some issues and went to them directly for them to first of all place the blame on me then reply so rudely after I told them I was not happy and won’t come back is so appalling! Then going on to blocking me before I could have responded!! management needs to seriously reconsider the way they treat customers because without customers there is no business. Really disappointing tbh from someone who has worked in the beauty industry before.

Management have proven to show a lack of professionalism and empathy on Two horrible experiences at this store. Attending my 6th session of IPL treatment I was expecting to be honoured the special discount at the end. I was rejected because I needed to have paid up front. I discussed the special with staff at the beginning and was told it would be sorted at the end. I was called a liar. Even if it wasn’t the case, staff should have said, “hey there’s a special on for what you want right now, how about you pay up front & you’ll save money.” I would have stopped going if I wasn’t being lead on because it hasn’t even really worked! My 1st horrendous experience was having my eyelashes tinted which I have done many times before at other salons. The male beautician slapped on the colour then pushed down so hard on my eyeballs I squirmed. The result was ordinary. I decided to email the store about my experience so that he could improve. I didn’t ask for anything. They said he is well experienced and wanted me to send a photo of my eye! What the! No apology or empathy once again. Don’t expect to be treated as a valued customer Of course this same comment was removed from F.B and I was blocked immediately I’ve had to post under another name
Friendly, professional service. Maddy manager goes over & above her duty to ensure the client is well informed and needs are catered for. I felt very confident in her hands. The shop is very clean and everything looks well maintained.
I Had henna brows done the first time recently and had a sever reaction to the dye which I was assured was harmless and natural. They did not offer to do a skin test or even ask if I'd had tinting or skin dye done previously.. but this only occurred to me after the fact. I wasn't overly impressed when I saw the finished product in the car afterwards. They were patchy and my husband confirmed what I thought as soon as I got home that they were completely uneven. They looked nothing like the before and after pictures I'd seen on Facebook which I was disappointed and confused about. I was assured that I just needed a couple of days to get used to them My makeup was not removed at all for the henna treatment. I had full coverage Foundation on which I thought was very odd. She drew the outline which I never got to see and painted the henna over my makeup. Unfortunately within 24 hours my eyebrows were a mass of weeping and burning pimples. I saw my doctor and was prescribed steroid cream and antihistamines. I contacted the store 2 days later via email with photos to let them know what had happened and they apologised and offered a refund and complimentary voucher. I thought this was fair, however, when I want in to do the refund they handed me a voucher.. for an eyebrow tint and lift. They were actually going to put more dye on my face after a major allergic reaction. I had already lost nearly half of one of my eyebrows.. I was totally shocked and told them I wouldn't be putting dye on my face ever again and the girl stammered and didn't know what to say. So I asked if I could use the voucher just for a wax which they were ok with but honestly, I don't think I'll be going back.
My before and after photos of my skin treatments are amazing. All of my acne is gone and I feel like a new person. I love this clinic so much that I also had my brows tattood also and receive so many comments on how natural and perfect they are. I would not go anywhere else. All the girls are fantastic no matter who you see. Highly recommended
