Some very strange negative reviews here, perhaps the competition not liking that Wattle Creek is superior to them. In my view, ridiculous complaints with an agenda. Very strange. My son was taught at Wattle Creek, his instructor was knowledgeable, knew what his level of riding was (and of course he ended up competing at a very young age due to his fabulous ground training of being taught to ride properly, as they do, here) the instructor was caring, reliable, supportive, could not do enough. The horses were well cared for, the experience was fantastic. If you want your child to learn how to ride properly, be dignified, in a supportive, POSITIVE, caring environment, I recommend Wattle Creek.

My 2 girls attended Wattle Creek for years, and they loved it. Coaches are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Horses are kept in great condition. Staff are friendly and approachable. A great place to learn how to ride. Highly recommend

Was a wonderful experience as my daughter's first lesson. A bit of a drive and started with a delay as the staff had to find the proper horse and equipment but the rest made one of her best memories as her teacher Alex, was great! Welcoming, patient, focused, supportive, happy and energetic. Made the whole experience so fun for my daughter and less stressful for me as a parent with her suppprtive teaching methods. Hope this level of service quality continues in our future lessons there and can't wait to see them after Christmas. Merry Christams Alex, Emily and Billy!

Wattle Creek is an excellent riding school. I started attending approximately one year ago after comparing (and attending lessons at) many of the other available options in the Brisbane region. The staff are incredibly professional, the horses are loved and looked after and the school offers awesome opportunities to extend all riders, regardless of ability or interest. As someone who once owned and rode their own horses, I always craved the ability to get in the saddle and go for it. Whilst many of the other riding schools would let you do this without checking your technique, Wendy and her coaches really took the time to make sure my skills were in check and that I was learning. It would have been so easy for them to let me free-ball around the arena and do whatever I want- and this would have made me happy, BUT it wouldn't have made me a better rider. Wattle Creek is an excellent school if you want to learn how to do it correctly with the best possible instruction there is. Moreover, because all the riders are being taught correctly and treat the horses with care, the horses are incredibly well looked after, loved and where rideability is concerned- of the highest calibre I have seen at a riding school. I love going to Wattle Creek for the monthly jump club (have formed quite an attachment to Flash- see pictures) and can't recommend the school enough- regardless of your riding background. Thanks Wendy!

The owners of this place are criminals. Their water line which they've been stealing water for decades from, burst a few weeks ago and was flooding all the houses up the road, they refused to repair it and have been crying poor and claiming to be hard done by. Council is offering to pay for a full water connection and they’re still claiming to be the aggrieved parties. That sort of moneygrubbing attitude is indicative of people who shouldn’t be trusted to care for animals. Avoid.
