Over the past several months or 2 years!! , every maintenance job has taken an excessive amount of time, and the communication around these delays has been very poor. As someone who is about to have a baby any day, it has been incredibly stressful to feel unheard and dismissed—especially when the issues relate to safety and liveability.nI also want to highlight that this is not just my experience. Multiple residents have expressed similar concerns, and many of these issues seem to be linked to the conduct and management style of one particular reception staff member. It’s disappointing to see that the same problems which caused significant issues last year appear to be happening again.nI’m requesting that my concerns be taken seriously and that my maintenance matters—particularly those impacting health and safety—are addressed urgently. I also ask that communication be improved so residents are not left feeling ignored.
Lived here now for nearly 4 years… Amazing facilities. Tremendous location opposite Harbourtown and only five minutes to the Broadwater. Highly recommended!
The residences are beautiful and well maintained. However, Tessa Residential is an absolute nightmare to deal with and very unethical in their practices.nnWe left the furnished apartment pristine, absolutely spotless and in much better condition it was dirty when we moved in than when we signed the lease.nnHowever, they still attempted to steal our bond.nnFortunately, they were unsuccessful and we received our full bond back but we were still disappointed as it was a complete waste of time and energy defending our position.nnMajority of people will not receive their bond back.nnI would strongly recommend that future tenants take caution and ensure that they take photos of every single square inch of the unit as well as familiarize yourself with the residential tenancies act.nnBe warned. You WILL be challenged by Tessa Residential for your bond regardless of the condition that you leave the premises.nnIt will most likely be on the basis of a spec of dust inside the wardrobe or something similar.
I moved into Waterpoint Residences with my daughter three weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help - no question is a silly question :. The facilities are amazing, we particularly love the theatre and pool. Our apartment is modern and spacious with high quality appliances. Thank you team for making our first three weeks in Australia so special :.
We lived here for 3 years. The Management during this time had been appalling, a law unto themselves and a total non negotiable attitude with not one ounce of human compassion. We wanted to extend our lease for a further 6 months in August but we were told we couldn't and had to do a month to month, This was obviously because they wanted to put the rent up and couldn't do that to us because they had already done it 3 times the new law states that your rent cannot be increased more than once over a 12 month period -so with no certainty ahead of us we looked elsewhere to move to-Our unit was maintained to the highest standard ,I had a cleaner every fortnight come and clean the entire time we lived there. When it was time to move out and request our bond released Gail had already submitted to the Tenancy board to take out entire bond- At that time we were interstate looking after elderly parents so I didn't have an opportunity to see the final bond clean, but it was done by a professional cleaner ,the one we had for 3 years and Gail asked if she was available to clean for them.We wanted to have our own professional Painter come and assess the walls to ascertain if in fact they could be touched up or in fact required an entire re paint, but no surprise Gail wouldn't let us back into the unit- When I asked why they thought it was ok to take our entire bond they replied- the entire unit needs repainting and cleaning again- so my cleaner went back in and spent 18 hours cleaning. I was not allowed to check the walls and so called damage as to why it required the entire unit repainting- We were supplied with photos of the walls, sure there were scuff marks but no way did the unit require repainting of the entire unit-one photo there was a speck, the size of a pin head she complained about- Obviously there will be ware and tare in a unit that's been occupied for 3 years. We had to take it to the bond tribunal were we only got half of our bond back.nThe Management her are the WORST I have ever dealt with.nNB: Take photos all the time of your unit-don't trust them to do it-to future tenants-don't leave you car parked out for too long it will get towed away, and don't forget you keys because they wont let you in... and don't put the oven hot plates on high because it will shatter the glass splash back behind the hotplates-nYou can only have 1 rent increase per 12 months with new legislation
