Went for birthday lunch & decided to try the Continental Buffet. Just over $33 I think pp. Very good value & choices for entree, main & deserts. This includes Tea & Coffee too. My friend decided to buy us a cocktail too & was delicious. Staff were lovely & helpfully. If you want a booth I recommend you book.
Amazing service both by FOH & BOH!! Food was high quality and tasty, went there on a Tuesday and just loved it, plates get cleared quickly allowing you to enjoy the next meal with peace. Chefs were soo cute and hardworking! Ah the coffee at the end, just made it next level!!
A great all you can eat buffet, but a less than ideal bar.nThe food is often swapped out for fresh ones at the buffet and at 34$ a pop it’s one of the cheaper all you can eat buffets with the quality of the food.nThe bar is a bit of a different story with asked medium rare steaks coming out quite well done and the vegetables coming out more raw than cooked, but the staff are lovely and helpful enough especially with any allergies.nnWould recommend/10 the buffet bar only
The buffet has always been good and just gets better with time. The atmosphere is good as the staff are friendly and very professional. Recent changes to the hotel make it look like a world class venue with nicely displayed buffet service, clean smokeless areas and several rooms to choose from. Adjoining accomodation is great so you can have a few drinks and not have to drive home. Highly recommended. I will be taking my patronage there to celebrate our Volunteer work group for a pre Christmas function. We are all looking forward to it.
Tonight my Son and I came in to enjoy a nice Steak but the Rump Steak my Son received would have been only just over 1 centimetre thick which would be impossible almost to come medium rare therefore more on the well done side.nMine was good but Size was average.nI understand they are measured by weight but my sons was clearly under.nStaff came had a look then went to get the Manager. I just told him to eat it before it gets cold.nManager came out and to cut an even longer story short, he offered my son a $20 voucher for next time but that never even come.nBack to the Holdfast we go.nActually BBQ Inn even...nPay a bit more but know what we going to get.nLady next to us also spoke to staff about her Dried Beef Jerky over cooked Snitty.nA lot more care factor needs to go into the quality of these said meals before they leave the kitchen.
