Very nice station with all modern amenities. Lifts and toilets available. Bus stops via plate form 1 to Caroline Springs and Hillside. Can catch the Sunbary and Bendigo line trains. Very close to Sydney city hub and shopping center. Plenty of parking.
Watergardens Station is a fairly beautiful station on the Sunbury Line. It has modern lifts, rearranged platforms after the line was extended to Sunbury and more frequency of trains as some trains terminate on that station. There is a big shopping centre near this station and some buildings, including in the station is patched with vibrant colours. However, this great looking station also hosted something else. There were instances on young kids including teenagers getting stabbed near the station and one was left in critical condition due to this. Crime rates are very high in this area. For now, Watergardens Station or the whole suburb gets a rating of 3/5. Whilst this station shows vibrant colours with a reliable shopping centre near the station, Watergardens is not a very safe area as there are lots of crimes reported. This is my view on Watergardens and its totally ok to have a different view.

It's a very busy station on the Sunbury line. They're doing a lot of renovation to the station so it's in a current state of progress towards a more safer and newer style station similar to St.Albans or Ginifer station, so expect some parts of the station to be blocked off and workmen around the place fixing things up. Services are relatively frequent and plenty of busses outside the station, access to the station from the Watergardens shopping precinct could be a lot better, I hope they do fix it one day and make a safer access point for pedestrians to enter the station.
Very good station with high frequency of trains to city. Parking is also huge, and there is always police in the evenings. More focus should be given on cleaning in common areas like lifts etc.
