This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They have their own post office, bottle mart, cheese, fruits and vegetables. Highly recommend to visit this place. They have side wall ways around the shop which is very lovely. They have live music too every Sunday from 3:30 to 6:30pm.
Superb combo of relaxed ambiace and great food, each of the entree, mains, desserts and even the variety of drinks never failed to impress! Live bands on weekends come as a bonus. A memorable experience to celebrate a special occasion here with groups of friends on a private dinner at the top floor overlooking the waterfront with a glowing sunset view.
The image of the bouillabaisse shows the bowl half empty! For good reason. One of the best ever! You cannot afford to miss the experience of service, value & freshness that derives from this unique ‘on the water’ local icon. At around $130 for 2 1 starter 2 mains & 2 glasses of wine it’s a true bargain. You want to know what ‘modern Australian’ seafood is all about? This is your chance. My first time.
Food was nice, but not brilliant... for the price I expected more. Having said that, the staff were all super friendly and it was definitely a nice location. I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't write it off either. Cocktails were delicious!
The cafe is located inside the general store and offers a great menu from burgers through to risotto and gnocchi including of course, fish and chips. Mingle with the locals, byo $5 head or enjoy their extensive wine list or a jug of sangria. Parking is scarce so don’t bring the car, the locals will thank you for that.
We went there after our swim at Mona Vale Beach. The views were amazing with Scotland island to your right and many boats on the lake. The cafe looked packed but to my amazement, the waiter took us to the rooftop level! It's nicely decorated with blue theme. We ordered the prawn linguine, seafood Platter and peri peri pizza. All the food was delicious except the fact that the Cafe was soo busy that they ran out of oysters so we didn't our oysters and calamari. We told the staff and it was mentioned to the owner. They then offered us for free dessert but we were sooo full after that meal and wanted a refund. And the owner was understanding and gave us $16 back in return. It was a good experience. But in future they should advise the customer if oysters or calamari have ran out.
A surprising little cafe on the waters edge at Church Point. We walked in and they were able to organise a table for us despite not booking. We were very lucky, given it was a weekend. The breakfast menu was vast and the food was delicious - very well presented. The service was friendly and helpful also. Beautiful greenery surrounds you whilst you are dining.
Very nice location, good menu with some Italian dishes. The fish and chip were amazing. Highly recommended! Good value for the money.
We randomly arrived here, and it was the beat choice! You could get the view from everywhere. Food was great. If you are busy they offer takeaway too.
Very disappointing Fathers day breakfast. General cleanliness was terrible. Luckily we didn't need to use the dirty water glass and cutlery and only saw the dead cockroach after we finished eating. Coffee was way too strong and almost undrinkable. We waited over an hour for our food we ordered through the QR system, had to enquire twice and then eventually received cold food, the corn fritters looked nice, but was extremely salty. The toast was rock hard and the eggs had uncooked whites. The serving staff seemed completely uncaring. What should have been an enjoyable family outing turned into a big disappointment. The manager did apologise and tried to give us a voucher to make up for our bad experience, but we won't be back.
