This trail winds it’s way through one of the Mount Evelyn hillsides. There are still section with the historic pine plantations. Follow the path that use to transfer water through MtEvelyn and see the engineering marvel from decades ago. Well shaded easy walk and the old dam is still accessible on the Birmingham rd side. A shared path that is popular with locals for a quiet walk away from cars etc. plenty of birds and bugs to amuse kids, but also OK just to meander and get lost.
